PRN 44571 The Kings Head to thought to date from the 17th century with a 19th century frontage. It is two storeys with a Gothic front with 2 canted 2 storey Gothic bay windows with mullions. R Willoughby, who was the landlord in the 1840s. {4} The 17th century Gothic Kings Head Hotel is a prominent building in Mercer Row, and is an important landmark in the street scene. {5}
