Full Description
Earthworks of medieval ridge and furrow, to the west of Folkingham. Identified on aerial photography examined as part of the National Mapping Programme. {1}
The remains are clearly visible on more recent lidar data, including additional remains surviving in the field to the immediate east, not previously identified by the NMP. The earthworks are aligned on a roughly north-west to south-east axis, athough the remains in the eastern field have been truncated in the middle by probable quarrying activity. {2}
