Full Description
Earthworks of medieval ridge and furrow, to the west of Little Humby, identified on aerial photography by the National Mapping Programme. {1}
Possible traces of the ridge and furrow were revealed in August 2015, during trial trenching to the immediate west of the village green. The remains of three possible medieval furrow bases, aligned on an east to west axis, were identified as slight undulations in the thickness of the subsoil deposit. {2}{3}
