Full Description

It is recorded in c.1155-60 that a place called Raudemilne was given by Robert, son of Turketin, to Newsham Abbey, where a chapel of St James the Apostle stood (see 62656), and pasture for 300 sheep. This may have been the location for the later establishment of Rodemill Grange. {1}{2}
