Full Description

Cropmarks of a probable prehistoric or Roman enclosure, to the north-east of Irnham. Visible as an incomplete sub-circular enclosure, defined a single ditch measuring 19m in diameter. Some speculation that this may possibly be the remains of a former round barrow. Identified on aerial photography examined as part of the National Mapping Programme. {1}
