62638 The Hall on Norton Lane is a mid and late seventeenth century house, with early eighteenth and nineteenth century additions. It is constructed of brick with ashlar dressings and a pantile roof. For the full description and the legal address of this listed building please refer to the appropriate List of Buildings of Special Architectural or Historic Interest. {1} The hall is recorded on the first and second edition Ordnance Survey maps. {2}{3} The Hall, Stapleford. Partially extant 17th century farmstead. Regular courtyard with linked working buildings to all four sides of the yard. The farmhouse is detached from the main working complex. There has been significant loss (greater than 50%) of traditional buildings. Located within or in association with a village. Large modern sheds are located on the site. {4}
