Monument record MLI83929 - Undated features, Manthorpe Road, Grantham
Summary
Undated features, Manthorpe Road, Grantham
Type and Period (3)
Protected Status/Designation
- None recorded
Full Description
PRN 36129
During trial trenching in 2002, numerous undated features were recorded. The ditches and postholes are difficult to interpret as there is little in their form or arrangement to suggest their origin or former use. A line of fairly evenly spaced postholes in Trench 2 may be a boundary or fenceline. However, the overall picture is confused by the number of small root and animal holes present.{1}{2}
