36116 A small assemblage of Mesolithic struck flints including a microlith, bladelets, flakes and piercers were recovered from what has been interpreted as a natural feature during a watching brief to the rear of Sycamore House. Also a bladelet core and other artefacts of a similar date were recovered from residual contexts across the site. The assemblage is similar to that at 8 Church Lane, although with more earlier examples. {1}{2}
