Full Description

PRN 44533 During a watching brief in 2001, several features were recorded which were probably of post medieval date, including drainage features, a pit or ditch, and a stone-lined well. Several wells had been reported in the grounds of the Old Rectory, and the location of this well suggests that it may have served dwellings fronting onto the lane opposite Woodbine Cottage. Pottery finds ranged from the sixteenth to the nineteenth century.{1}{2}
