Full Description

Greens School is a former school which was built in 1851 of squared coursed limestone rubble and a Collyweston slate roof. It has a single storey, a three bay front, and an L-shaped plan. For the full description and the legal address of this listed building please refer to the appropriate List of Buildings of Special Architectural or Historic Interest. {1}{2}{3} White's 1856 Trade Directory notes that the Girls' Green School was built by a 'Miss Wensor' in 1851. In 1872 it was attended by around 40 pupils. {4}{5}
