Full Description

PRN 36059 This farmstead record includes the farmhouse, two barns and a cartshed all of which are separately listed. The farmhouse built about 1830 is in ashlar with a hipped slate roof. There are two barns both late seventeenth century and of squared and coursed limestone rubble with ashlar dressings. The one on the street frontage has four bays and a roof constructed in oak with oak-pegged double-butt purlins and a modern covering of concrete tiles. The other barn has a Collyweston slate roof. There is also a cartshed, with a granary over it, dating from the eighteenth century and also of coursed limestone rubble with ashlar quoins and dressings with a Collyweston slate roof.
