Full Description

Former school and house built in 1761 and altered since. Built from squared limestone rubble with slate roof. For the full description and the legal address of this listed building please refer to the appropriate List of Buildings of Special Architectural or Historic Interest. {1} White's 1872 Trade Directory states that Greatford National School was 'held in a room' and was at the time attended by around 30 pupils. {2} The school is shown on the 1904 OS map of the village. {3}
