Full Description

Farmhouse built in the 17th century, with late 18th century additions, and 19th and 20th century alterations. Constructed from partly banded, coursed limestone rubble, with ashlar quoins and dressings. Features Collyweston, blue slate and concrete tile roofs, having a single axial ridge stack with stone base and twin yellow brick shafts, and a single red brick gable stack. Laid to an L-shaped plan form, the building is of two-storeys with garret, and features a four-bay front, the right hand bay of which is added and gabled. The off-centre six-panel door is 20th century, with 2 three-light windows to the left. and a single two-light plain casement. To the first floor are three similar two-light windows, those to left with timber lintels. In the gable is a further two-light window, with the right hand openings having ashlar lintels with keystones.
