PRN 35748
A gold ring, inscribed with "faithfulness crowns might" in Old English and Old French was found while metal detecting. The ring is thought to date from the Civil war in the reign of Charles I arraign 1630 and possibly belonging to a follower of James Graham, the First Marquis of Mountrose. {1}{2}
