A Wesleyan Methodist Chapel is located on Low Road, and it still survives. {1}
The chapel was visited in 2009. The surviving former chapel was built in 1886 though the society had met in a barn for many years prior. The chapel closed in 2003 and is now in use as a house. It is a gabled red-brick building with ashlar dressings and a slate roof. The raised gable has stone copings and the three-bay front has a central pointed doorway flanked by tall pointed windows all with ashlar keystones and set in recessed arches. A pointed recess above the doorway contains three narrow pointed lights with ashlar keystones and imposts. The side elevations have four bays of similar windows separated by brick pilasters. A lower gabled cell to the rear was probably a Sunday School. Velux windows have been inserted into roof. There is an ashlar foundation stone dated 1886.{2}{3}
