Full Description

62513 Six fishponds, rendering 4 shillings, are mentioned in the Domesday Book as belonging to the King's manor. Three fisheries, rendering 2 shillings, are mentioned as belonging to the manor of Gilbert de Gand. There are earthwork remains of fishponds close to the manor house site. {1}{2}
