Full Description

PRN 44495 While searching with a metal detector an Anglo-Saxon pin was recovered. The pin is gilt-silver and disc-headed with a double collar below the head and hipped shaft bent at an angle. It must have formed the middle one of a triple set, since the head has three apparently original piercing which would have served to hold a decorative boss, and linking elements to the other two pins in the set. {1}
