Full Description
A roughly worked pillar of oolite stone, measuring about 3ft long, was found in Romanstone Plantation, and is now in Newark Museum. It was suggested that it might have been a Roman boundary stone or milestone, although no conclusive evidence for this is available. It was set up on its end in the ground when found. {1}{2}
