Full Description

PRN 54761 During a watching brief a post-medieval structure was revealed. The structure was a wall constructed of hand made bricks and adjacent to it was a cobbled surface that has been interpreted as an associated yard. The building is nor present on Ordnance Survey Maps, or the Tythe maps for 1849, indicating that the building may have been demolished prior to this. A 17th-18th century knife handle, made from antler and bone was recovered from the building area in the topsoil. {1}{2}
