Trial trenching revealed foundations of two separate north south aligned walls. These walls are likely to be from buildings that fronted St Martin's street during the 18th-19th centuries. Quantities of post-medieval pottery, at least fifty-eight sherds and building material were recovered from across the site. A refuse pit was found and animal bone, some with butchery marks, pottery sherds and building materials were all recovered from it. {1}{2}
