Full Description

PRN 70256 Trial trenching revealed foundations of two separate north south aligned walls. These walls are likely to be from buildings that fronted St Martin's street during the 18th-19th centuries. Quantities of post-medieval pottery, at least fifty-eight sherds and building material were recovered from across the site. A refuse pit was found and animal bone, some with butchery marks, pottery sherds and building materials were all recovered from it. {1}{2}
