Full Description

44468 This little tower mill was built in 1813 and worked until early in the last century. It had been reduced to a stump by 1923 and now stands as a single storeyed stump, roofed over with corrugated iron sheeting. It had four patent sails but the number of stones driven is unknown. The brickwork is of rather poor quality and the walls are only one and a half bricks (14 inches) thick, even at ground floor level. {1}
