Full Description

44461 A scatter of late Mesolithic and early Neolithic flints were recovered during fieldwalking as part of the Humber Wetlands Project. The scatter comprised a microlith, scraper, 13 flakes and a chunk. The microlith survives as the mid-section of a bladelet with abrupt retouch along the left edge. The scraper is on a secondary flake with a plain striking platform and a diffuse bulb of percussion. It has acute retouch at the distal end. {1}
