Iron Age pottery and bones seen in a peat bed during gravel extraction in Baston Fen. The finds were sent to Lincoln Museum. {1}{2}
Stripping soil for a gravel pit revealed an area of peat 2 feet 10 inches down with fragments of Iron Age pottery and bone in it. {3}
