Full Description
Former railway bridge crossing Dysart Road. The line that the bridge served was opened in 1850. The bridge was built of blue brick with separate passage ways for vehicular traffic and pedestians. Blast walls were constructed at both ends of the pedestrian way during the Second World War. The bridge was demolished in 1979, after suffering damage several times from large lorries. {1}
