Full Description

Former 19th century bridge crossing the River Witham at Belton Lane. The bridge had a single span of about 40 feet, and was of cast iron girder construction with decorative cast iron railings. Abutments at each end were of black engineering brick with stone dressings. The upstream abutments carried date stones inscribed with the date '1898'. The bridge was demolished and replaced in 1977. {1}
