62127 Home Farmhouse was built by W.A.Nicholson in c.1835. It is two storey and four bay, and is constructed of coursed limestone rubble with ashlar dressings and a slate roof. This building is part of the complete estate village erected by the Chaplin family of Blankney Hall. Extant 19th century farmstead. Loose courtyard with four sides of the courtyard formed by working agricultural buildings. The farmhouse is detached with the long axis facing on to the yard. Located within or in association with a village. Large modern sheds are located to the side of the site. {2}
