Full Description
PRN 23730
During a watching brief two Roman ditches were recorded. From these ditches a quantity of briquetage was recovered indicated the possible presence of a saltern in the vicinity. A single sherd of Romano-British pottery was also recovered. Three further ditches were also recorded although no certain date has been placed to them, they are thought to be Roman in date. {1}{2}
