Full Description
PRN 35541
A boundary stone on the Stamford and Uffington parish boundary, situated on the bridge over Uffington Road (north side), just west of the A16. The top section of the frontispiece says 'Parish Boundary', the left section says 'St George's' and the right section says 'Uffington'. The boundary stone has a frontispiece made of metal backed by a wedge of stone.{1}
From the photograph and the description, it may be that there is an earlier boundary stone to which the metal piece was attached later.{2}
