Full Description

PRN 61962 During the geophysical survey a curvilinear feature was identified, trial trenches were excavated in this area and a sub-circular pit was recorded. Although no finds were recovered from this pit it is thought to be Iron-Age in date. The trial trenching also yielded some Iron-Age pottery sherds and cremated human bone, the bone is possibly disturbed from a local burial context. These finds could indicate the presence of burials and funerary structures.{1}{2}{3}{4}
