Full Description

PRN 35511 A series of pits and other features were recorded on this site, pottery recovered dates from 1st-3rd century. It is possible that a series of aligned pits could indicate the presence of a substantial structure. All the finds and features on this site are located on the north and east sides. This would intimate that the roman activity was confined to these areas.{1}{2} During trial trenching centered on TF10370 30080 three unstratified sherds of 2-3rd century grey ware were recovered.{3}{4}
