61914 The archway which is the west gate to Coleby Hall was built c.1762. It is constructed of stone, and is semi-circular with a heavy central keystone. It was built in imitation of a ruined stone arch based on the Newport Arch in Lincoln for Thomas Scrope with advice from Sir William Chambers.
