Full Description

The Domesday Survey recorded a mill at Auborn that rendered 20 shillings. {1} There has been a watermill at Aubourn watermill since at least 1076 when it was recorded by Geoffrey, the first name on the list of vicars of Aubourn. The mill became derelict in the late 1960's and was demolished in April 1968. {2}{3}
