Full Description
Early 20th century, traditional cast iron finger post sign, at the junction of West Bank and West Street. The post has an annular finial marked 'HOLLAND COUNTY COUNCIL', and is stamped with the manufacturer's name 'STANTON' at the base of the column. There are two arms, marked with 'PETERBOROUGH 9' and 'DEEPING ST JAMES 6' respectively. These arms had become detached from the post at the time it was surveyed in 1999, but had been repaired and re-attached by 2014. {1}{2}
