Full Description

PRN 35402 During an excavation, flakes of hammerscale were recovered, indicating iron smithing in the vicinity. The low density of the hammerscale flakes indicates that they were not associated with the excavated features and the contexts were not considered secure as the flakes may have migrated through the soil.{1}
