Full Description
An overhanging rim cinerary urn (Abercromby Type 1) from a destroyed tumulus on Dunston Heath was found before 1906. Lincoln Museum note the provenance of this urn (which was presented by Alderman W.S.Fox of Potterhanworth as a tumulus in a field called round hills opposite Peppers Cottages and Nocton Glebe Farm. Enquiries established the field to be that centred at TF 032 625. {1}{2}{3}{4}
