Full Description
PRN 54578
A geophysical survey and trial trenching recorded a chalk quarry on this site. A possible test pit was recorded, but was unfortunately undated. A layer of chalk rubble over the site, dated to the 18th-20th century from finds, is thought to represent landscaping attempts. The undulations across the site are probably also landscaping.{1}{2}{3}
