A bronze coin of Valentinian I (364-375) was found in 1976. Obv: D)N VALE(NTINIANUS PF AVG) Diad. right. Rev: (GLORIA ROMA)NOR(VM. Emperor dragging captive right. It is very worn, and the mint mark is illegible. {1}
There are reports of further unlocated Romano-british coins in the parish. {2}
