Full Description
A bronze spearhead and the jaw bone of a boar were found about 4ft below the ground surface in Potterhanworth Fen in 1841. The spearhead had loops on the socket and was recorded by Phillips. It was accessioned into the City and County Museum. {1}{2}{3}{4}
The finds were exhibited at the 1848 meeting of the Archaeological Institute in Lincoln. {5}
