Full Description

43972 A small area of blackened soil measuring about 30 feet in radius, with one or two sherds of Romano-British greyware was noted in Wildmore Fen. This site appears to be different in that it is in the low-lying part of the field. Other Romano-British sites in the locality are on the higher, drier ground, less prone to flooding. {1}
