A dug-out boat measuring 28 feet by 3 feet was found in 1925 in Branston Fen by Mr Smith of Branston Booths. It was seen by Arthur Smith of City and County Museum. It had a number of dividers across it. Although the boat was not kept, there is a sliver of wood in the 'dug-out' file in City and County Museum. Another possible grid reference is TF 061 691. {1}{2}{3}{4}
