Full Description

A linear feature was revealed in August 2000, during the archaeological monitoring of groundworks for an extension to the NSPCC Offices, at 111 Nettleham Road, Lincoln. The feature was aligned on a roughly east to west axis and was thought to possibly represent the remains of a former ditch. A few very small fragments of roof tile were identified in its fill, but these could not be closely dated, and were not retained. {1}{2}
