Three Romano-British pottery sherds, 1 possible Iron Age/Romano-British sherd and four tile fragments were were recovered during works associated with the replacement of an existing water pipe between Harmston and Bracebridge Heath (Plot 2). The finds probably represent manuring practices. {1}{2}
Romano-British coarse ware was also found in this area (SK 9721 6235) in 1955. {3}
