A sestertius of Antoninus Pius was found near the end of Boundary Street, Bracebridge, near the Witham, although the grid reference is closer to end of Russell Street. It was found during ground disturbance in the area. The coin dated to 140-144 AD: RIC 746?, and is in City and County Museum (LM 6.75). Obv: [A]NTONINUS AUG PI-US PPTRP COSTTT. Laur. r. Rev: [ITALIA S.C.] ? Italy std l. on globe holding cornucopia and sceptre. {1}{2}
