A coin of Claudius was found while erecting a lamp post in Brant Road, c.1969. Pottery was said to have been found at the same time. The coin is an imitation of BMC 136, AD 41. bronze duponius. Obv: TI CLAUDIUS CAESAR AUG. P.M.TR.P.IMP. Laur. head. Ceres AUGUSTA S.C. In City and County Museum. {1}{2}
