Full Description

PRN 61573 The Car Dyke Roman canal/drain runs through Dunston. Four boreholes were place across the Car Dyke at Dunston Fen (NGR TF 0889 6323) to determine the depth and width of the dyke at this location. The width of the dyke was 14.5m, and the depth was 3.1m. {1}
