Full Description
PRN 43930
During fieldwalking, a scatter of fired clay/briquetage of Roman or earlier date was recorded, close to a number of buried saltern sites. The material is thought to represent a saltmaking site.{1}
During a watching brief, four pieces of briquetage were found in a borehole.{2}{3}
