Full Description

61416 A bronze inscribed disc was found north of Pudding Busk Lane, near the railway embankment in 1976. It is in medieval style, and was originally part of a finger ring. Obv: +AVG MARIA CPA around a cross with some Lombardic letters, crude. Rev: Blank, with rivet. Its identification as medieval is dubious; it may be a Victorian imitation. {1}
