35325 The name 'thyngull' is recorded once in c.1400, which may be derived from the OE/ON 'thing' (meeting, court of justice) and OE 'hyll' (hill), which suggests that there may be an assembly-place within Dunsby parish for the wapentake of Aveland. {1}
