A stone quarry is indicated as an 'old quarry' on the 1906 County Series map. It is located on Alabala Close, and the southern and western edges of the former quarry are still apparent in the layout of the road and property boundaries. An earthwork which is still present may relate to the former quarry. The period of use of the quarry is not known. {1}
