Full Description

PRN 54532 During a watching brief, several features were recorded. A shallow north/south aligned ditch contained post-medieval demolition deposits of rubble, limestone blocks and bricks. Two layers of compacted gravelly deposits, aligned north/south, were thought to be former trackways, representing a realignment of a track shown on the modern OS map, and a trackway associated with property at Scothern Heath, shown on the 1904 OS map. A small pit was also recorded.{1}{2}
